The Kansas City Symphony performance Saturday night was pure delight. Afterward, we gathered for a dessert party. It wasn't at Linderhof but I did the desserts while husband Jim provided an assortment of liqueurs to go in and with coffee. A chocolate cake, a strawberry tart, coconut macaroons and a cheese tray with brie, grapes and crostini was our selection.
One picture only of the table for the "natives were restless" and were circling the table.
It was the perfect end to a wonderful evening. Friends, food and libations. There isn't anything better than that.

After reading your two most recent posts I have to say that there is just no way that life in your small prairie town is boring! A movie preimiere and then the symphony.......bliss!
A lot of action for a small town.
your dessert menu was the perfect way to top off the events.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
Symphony & a dessert party sounds like pure heaven to me!
Friends, food and libations ;) You are so right, nothing could be better! Throw in a wonderful symphony and that sounds like a perfect evening.
I have to say your small town sees alot more action than my small town:) What a luscious dessert table, no wonder the natives were restless. Wish I could have been there.
Thanks for sharing!
Looks wonderful! Some of my favorite things!
