Linderhof

Gardening, Cooking and Decorating on the Prairie of Kansas

Welcome to Linderhof, our 1920's home on the prairie, where there's usually something in the oven, flowers in the garden for tabletops and herbs in the garden for cooking. Where, when company comes, the teapot is always on and there are cookies and cakes to share in the larder.

After The Symphony Dessert Party

The Kansas City Symphony performance Saturday night was pure delight. Afterward, we gathered for a dessert party. It wasn't at Linderhof but I did the desserts while husband Jim provided an assortment of liqueurs to go in and with coffee. A chocolate cake, a strawberry tart, coconut macaroons and a cheese tray with brie, grapes and crostini was our selection.

One picture only of the table for the "natives were restless" and were circling the table.

It was the perfect end to a wonderful evening. Friends, food and libations. There isn't anything better than that.

After reading your two most recent posts I have to say that there is just no way that life in your small prairie town is boring! A movie preimiere and then the symphony.......bliss!

I have to say your small town sees alot more action than my small town:) What a luscious dessert table, no wonder the natives were restless. Wish I could have been there.

Thanks for sharing!
