I'm one lucky woman!
And what about the years between? Since his birthday, my birthday, our anniversary and Christmas are within a month of each other, we traditionally get each other birthday presents and then get something "for the house" or "for both of us" for our anniversary.
That tradition is what makes the necklace so special!
I truly am one lucky woman!

Both necklaces are beautiful but the one from Florence has such gorgeous detail! You are lucky :)
And that one is almost an antique!
Happy Anniversary and a man that buys jewelry is a real gem in my book. The cameo is lovely.
Such beautiful necklaces say something about the man who bought them -an eye for beauty, an understanding of 'occasion' and a lovely touch of sentimentality/tradition. Yes, you are one lucky woman!
Beautiful necklaces. Happy Anniversary and may you have many, many more years together.
What a wonderful anniversary you had! Both necklaces are absolutely gorgeous!! I came across your blog from Bernideen, and I must say that I enjoy reading your blog and all of your recipes!!! We just went to Savannah, and anytime I am near the coast I always have to have seafood too!!
Have a wonderful day!

How sweet!
What a hopeless romantic...purchasing the necklace for the "unknown" bride! You are lucky!! Donna (IA)
Both gifts are beautiful! Like you, our anniversary is in December (we celebrate early usually since the snows set in early sometimes), then Christmas, and my birthday is in early January. I do love the "festive" season--and, I celebrate my birthday the entire month with my three closest friends who all share the same birthday!
What beautiful gifts. The cameo is beautiful-- this a cameo. I love the simplicity and elegance of the new necklace.
Both are lovely pieces, Martha. Tell Jim I said the colors are all wrong for him:-).
Martha,
