For the tablecloth is a piece of blue and white toile fabric -- to layer over a regular white one -- an inexpensive way to add a bit of pattern or design on a table without buying lots of tablecloths. I don't have a favorite blue room plate -- each one is unique and each one is pretty. Any time we find them on sale, we will pick them up -- for I think they set a pretty table.
And our centerpiece has to be blue and white as well! A Spode blue and white pitcher and some blossoms in white.

It's Thursday -- the week has just flown! So join Susan at Between Naps on the Porch to see what other table settings there are for this second Tablescape Thursday of 2010!
