Pink Sky at Morning . . .
Sailor's Take Warning.
Pink Sky at Night . . .
Sailor's Delight!
It's been delightful weather on the prairie and we've had the prettiest pink skies as the sun sets. I thought of the old poem and how true it is.
It's Pink Satuarday so please join Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for other pink posts.

Beautiful. My dad who used to be a roofer has his own version of the poem. You are right... the poem is so true. Beautiful sky!
We have our red skies in the summer. They are very rare at this time of year. Such a beautiful prairie sky you've featured.
Martha, You have captured an amazing photo. Walter always repeats that poem when we are down at the beach and he is planning to go fishing. It is very familiar to me.
Carolyn
beautiful unusual pinks, and the poem goes perfect. Happy Pinks Sat
Martha, you have the most beautiful pictures. Thank you for sharing this lovely sky. Let's just say we don't get many lovely pink skies where I'm from. lol

Martha,
Lovely prairie sky with all the deep pink and purple hues! One of my favorite times of day is morning. . .when the sun comes up in Kansas "like a red rubber ball".
Fondly,
Pat
