Gardening, Cooking and Decorating on the Prairie of Kansas

Welcome to Linderhof, our 1920's home on the prairie, where there's usually something in the oven, flowers in the garden for tabletops and herbs in the garden for cooking. Where, when company comes, the teapot is always on and there are cookies and cakes to share in the larder.

A Very Merry Christmas From Linderhof To You

The wreath is on the door
And the snow is on the tree
God has laid His holy hands
On all that we can see.

Be quick to raise your voice
And praise what He has brought
Keep now His love in every choice
And Christmas in every thought.

Hi Martha,

I hope you had a lovely Christmas. Your fig cake looked spectacular (and I suspect tasted at least as good as it looked!). Just stopping by today to wish you and yours a wonderful new year filled with abundance, joy, and treasured moments!
