Linderhof

Gardening, Cooking and Decorating on the Prairie of Kansas

Welcome to Linderhof, our 1920's home on the prairie, where there's usually something in the oven, flowers in the garden for tabletops and herbs in the garden for cooking. Where, when company comes, the teapot is always on and there are cookies and cakes to share in the larder.

We Remember Our Fallen

The American Cemetery
Normandy

And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died
who gave that right to me.

Martha,
Last Saturday, we toured the National Cemetary @ Fort Scott and placed a flower on Aunt Jean& Uncle Bill's grave. Their love was so great they both passed the same year. Aunt Jean went first...Uncle Bill told a male relative," I just don't want to live another Christmas without Jeanie." He got his wish...he passed Dec.7, Pearl harbor Anniversary. He served under General Patton in WWII. It is time to remember and to thank all our Veterans!
Fondly,
Pat

Pleased with the tribute to our many fallen heroes- who have ensured our continued freedom in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Such a nice tribute to remember our men and women who have served and given the ultimate sacrifice for us all.
