Life at Linderhof has returned to normal and tea is once again being served in the afternoon. A nice respite in a busy day. It's nice, too, to have an oven to bake tea treats with.

Tea in the breakfast room -- heaven! |
With no power, there was no tea. Not for breakfast and certainly not in the afternoon. So with electricity came tea.
Tea for one in the breakfast room.

Leftover Donna Morgan's English Ice Box Tea Muffins |
Leftover from breakfast, they made a good nosh for afternoon tea!

Doing without makes your appreciate the little things! |
It's good to be in the breakfast room once again -- with tea and a nosh!
It's Tuesday and I'm sharing my afternoon tea with Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday.

Glad you finally have the electric back on...I would lose my mind! Thank goodness it is cooler. I am sure your happy to have a fresh pot of hot tea.
Hello Martha,
I am always happy to see your blue and white and I'm glad you are able to enjoy your tea again!
I don't like going without my tea either.
I mentioned you in my post today, did you see it?
We are getting the remnants of Lesley right now and so far, so good! We got the rain the past two days and the winds are coming tonight and into the morning. Hopefully I will be able to enjoy my tea tomorrow too.
Thank you for joining me today and have a delightful week.
Blessings,
Sandi
Goodness...isn't it difficult without power! We so depend on it now. A lovely tea time after difficult times. What a respite!

Glad you have your power back on Martha, an inconvenience for sure. Makes one appreciate a pot of hot tea in the afternoon even more.

Martha,
Nothing like restored power for the home and afternoon Tea for a restored soul!!! The breakfast room must be such a pleasure with the return of cooler temperatures to the Prairie! EnJOY!
Fondly,
Pat
Lovely... there is nothing quite like afternoon tea, especially when it's shared with dear friends.
You know - once the power was out and I thought "that's ok- I'll just go do...." No- can't do that and on and on so I just DID NOTHING!
It is amazing how much we depend on electricity. I am glad your's is back on again and you are not camping for we all love the creature comforts of home with the lights on! Your post of using your hot tea and a sweet in the lovely blue and white china makes me glad to see you doing well again!
Thanks, Pam
Afternoon tea is always nice. Good to hear your power is back on.
