Linderhof

Gardening, Cooking and Decorating on the Prairie of Kansas

Welcome to Linderhof, our 1920's home on the prairie, where there's usually something in the oven, flowers in the garden for tabletops and herbs in the garden for cooking. Where, when company comes, the teapot is always on and there are cookies and cakes to share in the larder.

How Many Do You Count?

This garden statue is a "bird magnet" . . .

How many do you count?

It could be that it's a "bird magnet" is that
Husband Jim
puts black sunflower seed
on the statue.

I see seven.
How many do you see?

It's Wednesday and I'm joining Susan at A Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday.

Martha,
Same number for my "old" eyes, dear friend! Husband Jim is a wise man, indeed! One of the brands of bird seed we use also contains cherry seeds...it creates quite a bit of flurring on the days that "Mr. Ed" uses it for the feeders!!! EnJOYing these cooler days here on the Prairie!!!
Fondly,
Pat
