I love blue and white

My English blue and white

And it doesn't need to be all of the same pattern of blue and white, I've found

it's fun to mix and match!

Afternoon tea is a daily occurrence at Linderhof

Most often by myself

But occasionally, a friend will drop by

And if it's after lunch, I'll put the kettle on

The breakfast room is always the perfect place for afternoon tea

A new recipe apricot almond tea bread -- made with my boozy apricots

Spode Blue Italian cups and saucers and tea plates, a Spode Blue Room tea pot and an odd English blue and white creamer -- actually my everyday creamer -- it was handy!

Tea forks are English as well -- they came with knives which we use as everyday butter knives.    

The recipe for the apricot almond tea bread makes one big loaf . . . or two little ones and a dozen "muffins"

The "muffins" were made to share.

(The muffins are on blue and white as well -- but not English, it's French . . . and it's not a bread tray but a sandwich one -- but I think the muffins look great on it!)
