Linderhof

Gardening, Cooking and Decorating on the Prairie of Kansas

Welcome to Linderhof, our 1920's home on the prairie, where there's usually something in the oven, flowers in the garden for tabletops and herbs in the garden for cooking. Where, when company comes, the teapot is always on and there are cookies and cakes to share in the larder.

Roadside Finds

I went for a drive in the country today
And took my copper pail with me
I came home with

A copper pail of full of flowers!!!

To make bouquets --

Everywhere!

On the table on the porch

On the breakfast room table

An old blue and white transferware pitcher on the sideboard

A milk glass vase on a living room end table

A silver julep cup by the bed

And a crystal vase on the dressing room table!

I adore my found flowers
I adore the house filled with flowers!

Yellow cone flowers and Queen Anne's Lace

Linderhof is smiling this week

There is nothing like flowers to bring a smile to your face!

It's Sunday and I'm joining The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays!

Beautiful post...

What a beautiful blog you have, my Dear. I'm so happy I happened to stop by, for a visit. It certainly looks like a lovely and warm prairie home.

Gentle hugs,
"Auntie"

Martha,
Love your Queen's Anne Lace, dear friend!!!
Believe it or not. . .it doesn't grow on our roadsides on this side of the Prairie!!! Everytime we visit Dad, I'm tempted to stop and get some cuttings. . .but I always forget my bucket!
Yours are lovely, especially those in the crystal vase!!!
Thanks for sharing!!!
Fondly,
Pat
