Easter and Lent is such a good time to host a brunch
A favorite for me is
"The Bunny Brunch"
Where the bunnies are on the table
NOT on the plate!!!
Three bunnies encircle a crystal vase of white tulips
Four seems my favorite number for lunch
(and brunch)
A lace tablecloth
and old damask napkins in silver rings
The Pembroke Aynsley sets a pretty Spring table
Spring is both birds and bunnies
And as I love blue and white transfer ware
I also love birds!
Spring is both birds and bunnies
And as I love blue and white transfer ware
I also love birds!
And since it is the Lenten season
One of the rabbits has an Easter egg!
Brunch is breakfast and lunch
all combined together
The breakfast part of a brunch is some form of eggs, fruit
and muffins (in this case "bunny" ones --
carrot muffins)
The lunch portion is a vegetable and dessert!
We enjoyed
A frittata of potato, peppers and onions and cheese
sprinkled with parsley
Fresh fruit with a tequila lime syrup
Roasted asparagus
Bunny Muffins
(aka Mimi's Cafe Carrot Muffins)
And dessert
More bunnies
In the form of a decorated cupcake!
I'm joining Susan at Between Naps On the Porch for Tablescape Thursday and Cuisine Kathleen for the Bird Challenge -- there are more bunnies than birds but the plates do feature a bird! It's very subtle!

Spring is such an inspiration! Love the bunnies!
The menu looks so delicious! Brunch looks like the way to go with "easy" entertaining. I am not a great cook so dinner parties can be overwhelming. Love the bunnies, too.
Love the bunny décor on the tables... and the menu looks quite tasty!
I see the birds on the plates! They are beautiful!
Thanks for taking part in the challenge and leaving a comment. Have a very blessed Easter!

Brunch is a favorite way to dine here, especially on weekends. Your plates are lovely. That is a new pattern to me. And your bunnies are of course adorable. Aren't all bunnies?
Beautiful table...love those rabbits! Your china pattern is beautiful.
What a scrumptious menu! And your table is lovely, with the beautiful china and cute bunnies creating a centerpiece.
The Bunnies are the perfect centerpiece as they encircle the flowers. Your Pembroke plates have the pretty colors for spring. Your food is fabulous and yummy looking.
Have a great week!
Pam
Absolutely love the bunnies on the table!! The brunch looks so tasty.
Do you know why on the Friends of Linderhof it doesn't have the title for the latest post of various blogs showing anymore? That was so helpful when quickly looking for something. Thank you, Linda
Beautiful table and I'm in love with your sweet bunnies and your Pembroke Aynsley china. It truly is perfect for spring, especially with the beautiful birds.
Happy spring, Martha!
Lovely table and brunch.
Can I sit there with a cup of tea?
Beautiful!
The Pembroke Aynsley is such a beautiful pattern. I sometimes feel like many people don't know much about the gorgeous Aynsley patterns. You've prepared such a sumptuous brunch. The Fritatta looks amazing. Thanks for inviting us for a peek. Cherry Kay

Such a lovely table to meet Kathleen's challenge. The china is beautiful, the birds and vivid colors in the pattern are perfect for a lovely Spring brunch. I love a brunch on Sunday mornings when you can sit and talk for hours and enjoy the good food. Your menu sounds wonderful. The roasted asparagus looks so good.
Martha,
Love how you've grouped the bunnies around the florals!
Your Bunny Brunch sounds delicious and similar to what I have planned for Easter!
Beautiful dinnerware choice, dear friend!!!
