Linderhof

Gardening, Cooking and Decorating on the Prairie of Kansas

Welcome to Linderhof, our 1920's home on the prairie, where there's usually something in the oven, flowers in the garden for tabletops and herbs in the garden for cooking. Where, when company comes, the teapot is always on and there are cookies and cakes to share in the larder.

A New Planter Box

This time of the year the Amish bring flowers
to our Farmers Market.

And this planter just "spoke" to me this morning
planted with an assortment of annuals
It is made out of logs

Just right on the low brick wall outside of the wooden fence

And the amazing thing is that
planter and plants was only $20!

I think it is perfect!

I think it is perfect, too - what a great deal. Well done - a little splash of pretty goes nicely there.

It IS "perfect" - and just right for that spot.

That was a bargain! I have spent the weekend planting pots and planters and haven't yet quite finished. We expect rain today, so I've saved the veranda planter to do under cover. We really need the rain!
