Linderhof

Gardening, Cooking and Decorating on the Prairie of Kansas

Welcome to Linderhof, our 1920's home on the prairie, where there's usually something in the oven, flowers in the garden for tabletops and herbs in the garden for cooking. Where, when company comes, the teapot is always on and there are cookies and cakes to share in the larder.

In The Mail . . .

The mail came early this morning

And with the garden needing weeding, laundry to be done, and the living room to vacuum,
it could wait
While I read two of my favorite magazines.
The Tea Time  one even had a cover of blue and white tea ware!

But I wasn't alone . . .
I had company!

A great way to spend the afternoon. The chores can wait!

I don't subscribe to either of them but pick them up every now and then. I was in the book store just yesterday and looked for the newest issues of both magazines. Neither were on the stands yet. I will look again soon. Both look to be interesting.

That must mean mine is on the way. It always takes a little longer to get to the west coast. Nice companion too.

I always enjoy Tea Time and Victoria when they come in the mail. I usually have company on my lap as I read them too.

Is there anything as sweet as a dog curled up in an armchair? Hard to beat! xoxox

I'll have to pick one up, too. Love the blue and white. Sweet companion you have there.
