Linderhof

Gardening, Cooking and Decorating on the Prairie of Kansas

Welcome to Linderhof, our 1920's home on the prairie, where there's usually something in the oven, flowers in the garden for tabletops and herbs in the garden for cooking. Where, when company comes, the teapot is always on and there are cookies and cakes to share in the larder.

A Lazy Saturday Tea

As much as I bake myself,
I do buy baked goods
When it is a "fundraising" bake sale

This one held by the Old Fort Genealogical Society
At the Farmers Market this morning

I bought a loaf of Apricot Nut Bread
It's something I don't usually bake
And I needed a tea treat for this afternoon

Two slices, a wee pot of tea and my latest mystery
perfect
for a tea for a lazy (and too warm for the garden) afternoon tea.

Do you also read mysteries? What is the "latest" you are reading?

Thank you for your comment. I've just bought The Breakfast Club Murder for my kindle. I hadn't read anything by this author, I think, though the name is somewhat familiar. Are you reading The Invention of Wings for your book club?
