It's Twelfth Night
(the night before Epiphany)
We'll have the wassail on
and the yule log is burning.
Tea will be ginger snaps
as they are proper Twelfth Night fare.
We'll also watch the movie
Twelfth Night or What You Will
And tomorrow we shall have our Galette des Rois
the French "King's Cake"
Puff pastry filled with an almond cream
A real French feve hidden inside
And for tea,
we shall invite three
(for there were three wisemen)
Epiphany
The end of Christmas

Oh I just love that you carry on those traditions. We have never done any of the before and after Christmas traditions but I've always wanted to. My daughter's birthday is today on the Epiphany.
Thanks for sharing these traditions with us. Your home is always so cozy feeling.

Martha,
I adore that you celebrate the Epiphany with a Tea and a Kings Cake on the Twelfth Night!
Fondly,
Pat
